  • We believe in one true and living God as revealed in the Bible and the Holy Trinity or the Godhead by the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I John 5:7
  • We believe that the Old and New Testament scriptures as recorded in the King James translation to be the written and revealed word of God, and are the only rules of faith and practice. II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:20-21
  • We believe that God created the heaven and the earth and all things therein, according to the account given in Genesis, and that it is to be accepted literally. Gen. 1:1; Col. 1:16, 17; Rev. 4:11
  • We believe that God made man of the dust of the earth, and that He made him good. That man was created in innocence under the law of his Maker and that man transgressed the law and fell from his sinless and happy state and lost his righteousness. Gen. 1:27, 2:7, 2:16-17, 3:6-23
  • We believe in the total depravity of man, that he was unable to redeem himself from the fallen state he was in. Therefore, Jesus the Savior is necessary for man's redemption. Gen. 3:24; Rom. 5:9-19
  • We believe that God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And He is the propitiation for our sins; not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. John 3:16; I John 2:2
  • We believe that sinners are justified by faith and saved by grace. Eph. 2:8; Rom. 5:1-2
  • We believe that the gospel is the only means that God has ordained by which sinners are brought to Christ and He has commanded that we go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. "As my Father has sent me, even so send I you." John 20:21; Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 10:13-15; Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15; I Cor. 1:21-24
  • We believe that he that believes in the Son of God hath the witness in himself. I John 5:10
  • We believe that baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances of Jesus Christ given to the church by example and command for us to observe until He comes again. Matt. 28:19; John 13; I Cor. 11:23-26; I Tim. 5:9-10
  • We believe and practice that the only scriptural mode for baptism is by immersion of the whole body in the water, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, and that believers are the only fit subjects for baptism. Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Matt. 28:19
  • We believe that all saints will persevere through grace to glory and never fall away. John 10:28-29; Eph. 1:13-14; I Pet. 1:5
  • We believe in election by grace according to the foreknowledge of God and the sanctification of the Spirit through the belief of the truth. God's electing grace hath appeared to all men, the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the gospel; it is the duty of all to accept them. Nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth but his own voluntary rejection of Christ, when He is offered to us by Him, the Holy Spirit in His convicting, revealing, and drawing power. I Pet. 1:2-3
  • We believe that the church is the light of the world and is made manifest by keeping the commandments and examples of Jesus Christ, who is the head of the church in all things. Matt. 5:14; Eph. 1:22-23.
  • We believe that God chooses, calls, and qualifies those whom He would have to preach the gospel, and God has promised temporal support of His ministers. Rom. 10:14-15; I Cor. 1:25-29; I Cor. 9:7-11
  • We believe and practice in a restricted communion confined to the church in fellowship walking in the light and observing gospel order. I Cor. 5:11-12; John 13; I Cor. 11:31-32
  • We believe that Christ is the only law giver in Zion and that the New Testament scripture is perfect, a thorough furnisher to the man of God, unto all good works. James 4:12; II Tim. 3:16
  • We believe that God hath appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by His Son, Jesus Christ, and that this day will be after the death of the body. Heb. 9:27; Acts 17:31; John 5:22
  • We believe that there will be two resurrections of the dead, one of the just and another of the unjust, and also that these acts of God will be connected with the glorious appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the second time, bodily from heaven according to Daniel 12:2; John 5:28; Acts 24:15; I Cor. 15:23; Phil. 3:20,21; I Thes. 4:15-17; Rev. 20:5-6
  • We believe that the punishment of the wicked is everlasting and the joys of the righteous are eternal. Matt. 25:46
  • We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was or can ever be born of a woman. Gen. 3:15; Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; Mark 1:1; John 1:14; Psa. 2:7; Gal. 4:4; I John 5:20; I Cor. 15:47
